In my view, User Experience strives to optimize systems and user interfaces based on how people can, want, or need to work – rather than expecting them to change how they work to accommodate the technology. 

My practice of UX is centered on the active involvement of users on projects and products. This involvement includes the use of human research methods, including task observation and interviews.
